Waleed
is the youngest member of our team. He started
learning salsa in august 2003 and joined the
team at the beginning of 2004. Waleed is a valued
member of the team who assists in the running
of MamboCity. His roll includes a variety of
tasks. From helping to run our Weekly Ealing
Town Hall Friday Nights and Monthly Party Night
to organizing and running MamboCity Salsa Weekenders
& Congress, Waleed also assists in promotion
and occasionally teaching. He currently dance’s
crossbody On1 and has just started learning
On2.
Waleed
has studied under a variety of teachers mainly
Robert and Jean White as well classes with
Marchant Birch, Mushi, Jesus Aponte and many
more.
