Rafael & Janet Rafael and Janet were born in Havana Cuba where they both spent their formative years at the Cuban National School of Art and Dance (graduating with honours) with Rafael spending further three years with the National Contemporary Dance Company of Cuba, before coming to the UK to star in the hit West End show 'Lady Salsa. Together they have enriched the UK Salsa Dance scene with their unique style and energy. which has seen them perform and teach at the UK and British Salsa Congress and Dubai Salsa Congress in 2002, they are also retired undefeated as “World Open Salsa Champions” (a title they achieved in 2001 and successfully defended in 2002). Rafael and Janet are two of the most indemand performers and teachers in the UK today.
